Preparation Course + Diagnostic Test

Over the period of this course which consists of ten 50-minute lessons, you will be provided with the opportunity to develop your English language skills to assist you in taking the ICAO Aviation English exam. The content of this course is structured around the three parts of the ICAO exam. Therefore, you will be able to implement some of this new knowledge when taking the exam to increase the likelihood of passing your exam with flying colours.  

For example, you will practise how to ask for clarification and confirmation as well as giving instructions. The course will allow you to practise and develop your speaking skills by participating in numerous speaking tasks including answering questions and role plays. 

Pronunciation and comprehension will also be practised by completing a variety of tasks and exercises. In addition, not only will you have the opportunity to practise but also to expand your knowledge of the English language. 

The lessons will be conducted on a one-to-one basis. Therefore, you will have the teacher’s full attention. 

You will be provided with error correction on the spot when necessary and also after a task has been completed. This is done to eradicate mistakes and bad habits which you may have developed over time. Error correction is imperative in order to improve your knowledge of the English language.

Additionally, you will be provided with the lesson content via email prior to the commencement of each lesson. 

Please make sure that you have a pen and paper at your disposal before you start your lessons to enable you to make notes. 

After completing the course, you will take the RAELC diagnostic test as a way to prepare before sitting your official exam. Feedback will be provided after this test to give you some advice with regard to how you can improve your chances of being successful.  

•  If a booked lesson is cancelled within 24 hours, that lesson will be deducted from the package of lessons.
• 
  Should your teacher cancel due to illness, technical issues or other extenuating circumstances, the lesson will be rescheduled.
